Der Nassenhof has awoken from its slumber – after more than 10 years of vacancy, we have breathed new life into it.

In 2019, we took over the Venngasthof zur Buche in Mützenich – just 6 ½ years later, the Nassenhof, located 800 meters away, also became ours.
And with that, our Restaurant Zur Buche simultaneously moved there.

But Let’s Start from the Beginning.

With the vision of creating a place where guests truly feel comfortable. With a lot of dedication, a great crew, and an excellent chef, a popular and well-established restaurant has grown from a former inn. Our Restaurant Zur Buche.
Over the years, however, it became clear that the spatial conditions – especially the path between the kitchen and the dining area via a narrow spiral staircase – were a real long-term challenge during ongoing operations. From this situation, the decision was made to spatially reorganize the restaurant operation to provide more comfort and ease for both guests and employees.

The next step was clear: We want to grow with the Nassenhof, located only 800 meters from the Venngasthof zur Buche.

As of August 1, 2025, our guests will now find our Restaurant Zur Buche at Eupener Straße 80 in Nassenhof. With 50 seats, distributed across two separate rooms – the bistro and the restaurant – our restaurant guests can now truly enjoy themselves. And if it’s a larger party?
No problem! With our adjoining hall, we always have the right option for your gathering.
